<intro>
Monday, March begins. And soon it will be March Madness.

College teams hope to be playing their best basketball at this time of year. Going into Saturday's action, #1 Kansas and # 2 Kentucky have each only had one loss for the season.

Then came the one-two punch on Saturday.

The Kansas Jayhawks went into Oklahoma State hoping to clinch the Big 12 regular season championship against the Cowboys. They had not lost a Big 12 game during the entire season. The Cowboys denied the hopes for Kansas with an 85-77 victory over the number 1 ranked team.

Meanwhile, the second ranked Kentucky Wildcats took an eight game winning streak into Tennessee to face the Volunteers. Tennessee is ranked 19th, and playing at home, they took care of their guests with a 74 -65 victory.

Monday it will be the first of March. There will be a new poll. March Madness is coming. Who will be standing at number one?
</intro>
